Did you know that when importing light fixtures from overseas that you the importer/supplier is responsible for ensuring the product complies with all relevant Australian Standards for Electrical Safety and EMC?

Testing your product to prove that it meets the Australian Standards can be a long and expensive process.

Why not choose to use an OSRAM approved driver for your companies light source instead?

OSRAM’s range of compact and remote drivers come complete with the Regulatory Compliance Mark and all relevant documentation required that satisfy these mandatory Australian Standards, therefore connecting an approved OSRAM driver to your LED Module or light source (that does not contain any active or switching component) could save you time and money.

All LED Drivers supplied by OSRAM Australia comply with Electrical Safety Standards ASNZS IEC 61347.2.13:2013  Lamp control gear – Particular requirements for d.c. or a.c. supplied electronic control gear for LED modules (IEC 61347-2-13, Ed.1.0 (2006) MOD) as well as EMC Standards AS/NZS CISPR 15:2011  Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and similar equipment (CISPR 15, Ed.7.2 (2009) MOD).

Please note that normal EMC requirements are still to be met by the supplier of Medium risk devices, however, you will still benefit from the use of an OSRAM product as it will come with all the required safety documentation and markings.
